Terms of service
Last updated: October 31, 2026. These terms cover bookingjam.com, the demo on it, the early-access program and the BookingJam service once your account is open. The site and service are run by Web Landscapes LLC, a Florida company trading as BookingJam ("we", "us"). Questions go to contact@bookingjam.com or (786) 372-0287.
1. What the service is
BookingJam is software that lets your clients book appointments with your business, pay deposits, and receive confirmations and reminders, and that shows you your bookings on a calendar. We provide the tools and the records. We are not a party to the appointments between you and your clients, and we don't collect or hold money on your behalf.
2. The demo
The demo on this site runs in your browser. The businesses, people and bookings in it are made up. Nothing you type is sent to us or stored by us, no card is requested and nothing is charged. Calendar files it produces are marked as demo bookings.
3. Early access
Early-access accounts are free until we announce launch. During early access, parts of the service may be missing, change or stop working, and we may reset data with notice. The price after launch will be published on this site before launch, and we will email account holders before any charge. You can close your account instead of paying.
4. Deposits, cancellations and your policies
- Deposits and prepayments from your clients go through a payment processor to your own account with that processor, under its terms and fees. We don't receive those funds.
- You set your deposit amounts and your cancellation and no-show policy. The service shows them to clients before they book. Refunds and disputes with your clients are between you and them, under your policy and the processor's rules.
- You are responsible for the prices, taxes and policies you publish, and for complying with the laws that apply to your business.
5. Messages to your clients
The service sends confirmations and reminders about bookings your clients made. Use it only for messages about their appointments, unless they have agreed to receive more. Clients can stop text messages by replying STOP.
6. Accounts and payment after launch
Plans are billed monthly in US dollars through the payment processor named on the account page. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period, and there are no refunds for partial months unless the law requires one.
7. Your data
Your bookings, services, client list and records belong to you. You can export them at any time. If you close your account, we delete your data after 90 days except where the law requires us to keep it longer. The privacy policy says what we collect and why.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use the service to message people who haven't booked with you or asked to hear from you, to take bookings for services that are unlawful, or to misrepresent your business. We may suspend an account that does.
9. Availability
We try to keep the service running and we back it up, but we don't promise any level of uptime, and we may take it down for maintenance. Keep your own export of upcoming bookings.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the site or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or missed appointments. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Before going to court, we both agree to try to resolve it by talking first.
12. Changes
If we change these terms, we update the date at the top and email account holders about anything that affects them.
